مقدمه: در دهه‌های اخیر بررسی رضایتمندی سکونتی ساکنین از مهم‌ترین موضوعات پژوهشی در رشته‌های مختلف محسوب شده‌است. در این راستا آگاهی از رضایتمندی سکونتی در چهارچوب شکوفایی شهری نیازمند ارائه تحلیلی ساختاری از آن در آینده است، تا به وسیله آن بتوان رضایتمندی سکونتی در شهر را افزایش داد.
هدف: هدف این پژوهش واکاوی مؤلفه‌های شکوفایی شهری در ایجاد رضایتمندی سکونتی با رویکرد آینده‌پژوهی در شهر رشت می‌باشد.
روش‌شناسی تحقیق: پژوهش حاضر کاربردی و به لحاظ روش انجام، توصیفی-تحلیلی است. گردآوری داده‌ها در بخش نظری به روش اسنادی و در بخش عملی نیز با نظر خبرگان و متخصصان شهر رشت با استفاده از تکنیک دلفی و با بهرهگیری از تکنیک تحلیل اثرات متقاطع، صورت پذیرفته است. همچنین با استفاده از نرمافزار میکمک و سناریو ویزارد به تحلیل رضایتمندی سکونتی در چارچوب شکوفایی شهری در شهر رشت پرداخته است.
قلمرو جغرافیایی پژوهش: قلمرو جغرافیایی این پژوهش، شهر رشت می‌باشد.
یافته‌ها: در نهایت 12 عامل کلیدی شناسایی شد و تعداد 28 وضعیت احتمالی برای عوامل کلیدی در نظر گرفته شد. مسولیت‌پذیری مسئولین و مردم، تولید شهر به ازای هر نفر و دسترسی به خدمات عمومی بیشترین ارزش سازگاری را بین عوامل کلیدی در بهبود وضعیت رضایتمندی سکونتی شهر رشت در چهارچوب شکوفایی شهری دارند.
نتایج: رضایتمندی سکونتی در شهر رشت به عوامل اقتصادی و اجتماعی مانند اشتغال، درآمد خانوار، و مشارکت مردم و بخش خصوصی وابسته است. به‌منظور بهبود این رضایتمندی، سناریوهای آینده‌پژوهی با تمرکز بر حکمروایی شهری و مشارکت مردمی، به پایداری و ارتقای شرایط سکونتی کمک می‌کنند.
