An Investigation of the Effect of Travel Motivation and Memorable Experience on Faithfulness to the Sports Tourism Destination Based on Nature

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effect of the motivation to travel and experience on the faithfulness to the destination of sports tourism in nature with reference to the role of satisfaction. The research method is descriptive-correlational, and the research type is applied. The statistical population of this research is all travelers who visit Shahrood Nature. Considering that the statistical population in this research is countless, we limited them to 384 people. Several 450 questionnaires were Distributed and in the end, 384 questionnaires were analyzed. For collecting data, we used Wang Travel Enthusiasm Questionnaire, Sung et al. Travel Satisfaction, and Howang and Lieu’s Loyalty to the Destination questionnaire. The findings showed that a memorable experience had no significant effect on the experience of sports tourists in nature. Memorable experience has no significant effect on the motivation of sports tourists traveling in nature. The motivation to travel has a significant effect on satisfaction and loyalty to sports tourists’ destinations. Satisfaction with the destination and the loyalty to destination in sports tourists in nature has a significant effect. Memorable experience has an indirect effect on the loyalty to the destination of sports tourists in nature.
