این پژوهش با هدف بررسی میزان برخورداری دانشجومعلمان دانشگاه فرهنگیان سنندج از دانش روشها و فنون تدریس و شناسایی عوامل مؤثر بر آن انجام شده است. رویکرد پژوهش، آمیخته از نوع متوالی- تبینی و روش تحقیق در بخش کمّی توصیفی از نوع پیمایشی و در بخش کیفی پدیدارشناسی است. جامعۀ آماری پژوهش را 108 نفر از دانشجو معلمان که درس روشها و فنون تدریس را گذارنده بودند، تشکیل داده است. با توجه به شرایط پژوهش، نمونهگیری در بخش کمّی با روش سرشماری(108نفر) و در بخش کیفی به صورت هدفمند و از بین دانشجویانی که نمرۀ آنها یک انحراف معیار بالاتر و پایینتر از میانگین بود (38 نفر) انجام شده است. برای جمعآوری اطلاعات در بخش کمّی از پرسشنامۀ محققساخته و در بخش کیفی از مصاحبۀ نیمهساختار یافته و برای تحلیل اطلاعات در بخش کمّی از آمار توصیفی و در بخش کیفی برای تحلیل متن مصاحبهها از روش تحلیل تفسیری استفاده شده است. معدل دانشجویان از آزمون 66/20 به دست آمد که نشان میدهد سطح یادگیری و آموختههای دانشجومعلمان در این درس در حد متوسط است. در بخش کیفی نیز چهار عامل اصلیِ تأثیر استادان، تأثیر فضای کلاس درس، نگرش دانشجویان و عوامل اجتماعی و بیرونی به عنوان عوامل مؤثر در یادگیری درس روشها و فنون تدریس شناسایی شدند.
