A Review of the Role of Trust, Social Networks, Participation and the Feeling of Happiness in Students

The purpose of this research is to review the relationship between trust, social networks, participation and feeling of happiness. The statistical population of the present research, all of the students of Islamic Azad University of Kerman Branch (a number of 16403 students) in the academic year of 2013-14, among which a number of 400 students have been selected as the sample size, the questionnaire includes two sections and the Oxford questionnaire has been used in order to measure the feeling of happiness. The theoretical framework of the research was formed based on the theories of Max Haler and Markaz Hadler, Belbum and Barhir, Shinex and Bergezma and the some hypotheses were formulated and then, the proposed path diagram has been fitted by using the Amos 17 software. The results indicate that the relationship between outside of the group dimensions of charitable participation and the feeling of happiness is not significant and only in group charitable participation has a direct and positive impact on the feeling of happiness. The standard Beta coefficient is equal to 0.132. The second variable which has the most impact on the feeling of happiness is institutional trust. Its standard Beta coefficient is equal to 0.219. Other relationships of the social variables have been provided with the feeling of happiness in the form of multivariable regression model in the research.
