Abstract :
The main purpose of the research was to study the relationship between Familiarity and use of ICT, and high school students’ academic achievement in Haris. The research method was a descriptive-correlational one. Among 1800 population (970 boy and 830 girl students), 317 were selected through random stratified sampling method as statistical sample. For data collection, a researcher-made questionnaire was used whose face and content validity was confirmed by the experts. Its reliability was estimated 0/78 for familiarity with ICT variable, and 0/74 for the use of ICT variable through Chronbach Alpha Coefficient. Data-analysis was done using descriptive and inferential statistics such as Pearson correlation and Regression tests. The results showed that there was significant relationship between familiarity and use of ICT, and high school students’ academic achievement.
