Investigate of the current status of the intended curriculum for elementary education at Farhangian University from the perspective of technology knowledge (Based on the TPACK model)

Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of intended curriculum for elementary education of Farhangian University in perspective of technology knowledge. The research method is content analysis.The field of study is intended curriculum for elementary education. sample of research is ICT lessons in elementary education that was selected by purposeful method. The research tool has compiled researcher-made content analysis list based on theoretical foundations of TPACK model. The validity of the instrument was formally confirmed by experts, and Scottish coefficient of 91.05 was obtained for reliability of the instrument using Scott method. Qualitative data analysis showed that present curriculum was designed from Perspective of teacher knowledge based on old Schulman method. Because subjects of technology knowledge have been described as part of pedagogical content Competency. To knowledge of technology and its structures as one of the types of competence as theoretical and practical units, To technology knowledge in analog and digital, to integrate technology with content and pedagogy, and to integrate the three by providing content tools, online teaching tools, and evaluation tool have not been attention. Therefore, capacity of curriculum to teach technology knowledge is not well utilized and is incomplete based on TPACK model.
