An Explanation of Competitions Between China and USA in the Frame Work of Power-Cycle Theory

Abstract :
The competition between China and USA is one of the most significant issues surrounding the studies in international polities. The results of this study have revealed that, there are two underlying reasons resulting in competition between China and USA. The first group refers to fundamental differences in philosophical nature and values of china and USA including: philosophical differences, ideological differences, having different contemporary histories, world power against regional power, seeking reconsideration compared to keeping the current situation, developed economy against developing one, and domination of law against that of autocratic my govermant. The second group is related to issues in policy and security between the two countries, such as agreements on weapon control and Non- proliferation US national defence policy and missile defence program in Eastern Asia and Taiwan . Here, the power- cycle theory has been applied in order to create a precise explanation of the causes of such competitions.
