Abstract :
The main issue of this article is how to address the "issue of national identity" in constitutional political literature, especially constitutional political poetry. One of the foundations of national identity was the emergence of the concept of "modernity" of the nation in the Nasserite era, with the works and speeches of people such as Akhundzadeh and Mirza Agha Khan Kermani. In the Nasserite era, archeology, attention to the name of Iran, the modern theme of "nation" and redefining the concept of "homeland" were the main components of the new conception of national identity. Using a descriptive analytical method, this article seeks to ask how the "question of national identity" crystallized in constitutional political literature. With the hypothesis that "the issue of national identity, in constitutional political literature, was more than anything related to the modern concept of 'homeland', and this concept was considered with high frequency in the political poetry of this period." The main finding of this study is that by expanding modern knowledge of categories and concepts such as "nation" and "homeland" in the Nasserite era and its expansion in the constitutional era, especially in the political literature of this period, "national identity" as a fundamental "issue" At the heart of constitutionalism, it was considered.
