Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to evaluate social evaluation of the effect of Welfare Organization's empowerment programs on the quality of life of elderly people in Khalkhal city. The theoretical framework of this research is theories; the Grebium social environment, John Creet's community-based rehabilitation programs, Green-based systems, Ondrich and Ladikka, Yin-Chen community-based programs, and old-fashioned capital theory of theory. Research method has been survey. The sample consisted of 60 subjects (30 controls, 30 control groups) selected from among elderly people in Khalkhal city. Required information was collected using a questionnaire technique. The results show that there is a difference between the two test and control groups, so that the elderly who have participated in empowerment programs and received meaningful services have a higher quality of life. Also, the results of multiple regression show that elderly empowerment programs predict 55% of the variance in the quality of life of the elderly. Considering the positive results obtained in this study, considering the lower cost of these programs, expansion of these programs seems necessary.
