The effect of green human resource management on green behavior, emphasizing the mediating role of the organization's social responsibility and green psychological climate

Abstract :
AbstractThis research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of green human resource management on green behavior, emphasizing the mediating role of the organization's social responsibility and green psychological climate. The statistical population of this research includes 4700 employees of Urmia municipality, 300 of whom were selected as a statistical sample by simple random sampling. The tool of data collection is a questionnaire, and structural equation modeling with the help of smart PLS3 software was used to analyze the data in order to test the hypotheses. The results of data analysis showed that 1) green human resource management has a significant effect on green behavior through green psychological climate and social responsibility. 2) Green human resource management has a significant effect on green psychological climate and social responsibility. 3) Organization's social responsibility and green psychological climate have a significant effect on green behavior. (P-Value ≥ 0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that human resource management has a positive effect on employees' green behavior directly and indirectly through green psychological climate and green social responsibility green behavior directly and indirectly through green psychological climate and green social responsibility
