Abstract :
Faculty members, as one of the most important human resources of any university, have an important role in the field of entrepreneurship and can act more effectively in playing this role when they have the necessary competencies for it. The purpose of this article is to provide a model of competency of faculty members with an entrepreneurial approach and using the three-pronged and six-sigma model. The research method in this study is mixed according to the research propositions and in terms of the type of application and the way of data collection; It has been descriptive and survey. This research has two exploratory sections including; Identifying the pattern of professional competencies as well as extracting the most important components affecting it and providing a conceptual framework. The effective components of the professional competencies of the faculty members were collected and analyzed by Delphi method and from the professional point of view of 10 specialists in the field of educational sciences; Then, in the quantitative part, the obtained model was fitted on the studied faculty members by structural equation modeling. The results of the research showed that the competencies of faculty members can be classified into six dimensions: educational, research, organizational, ethical, personal and professional competencies and 44 sub-competencies.
