Abstract :

In order to validate the Attitudes towards Smoking Scale
         Chamran University and Islamic Azad University, Arsenjan branch, participated in this study. Data were indicative of a high level of Internal Consistency of the ASS. All the items of the scale were significantly correlated with the total score of  
       Principal Components Analysis (Varimax Rotation) resulted in              !"  #  $          %& "  the variance. This research showed that for measuring people’s attitudes toward smoking, researchers can rely on ASS.
