Prediction of quality of life on anxiety and depression caused by covid-19 in married women of Islamshahr city

Abstract :
The aim of the present study is to predict the quality of life on anxiety and depression caused by covid-19 in married women of Islamshahr city. The statistical population in this research is the married women of Islamshahr city, and the sample size is estimated to be 384 people based on Morgan's table, which were selected by simple random sampling. Questionnaires have been distributed online. The research tools are 3 questionnaires, which include the quality of life questionnaire, the corona disease anxiety questionnaire, and the Beck depression questionnaire. The analysis of the information obtained from the questionnaires has been done at two levels of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The research findings were analyzed using SPSS version 26 software. Considering that the distribution of the obtained data was not normal, Spearman's correlation test and non-parametric regression analysis were used. The results of the research showed that there is a negative and significant correlation between the quality of life and anxiety caused by covid-19 (R = -0.681), and there is a negative and significant correlation between the quality of life and depression caused by covid-19 (r = -0.751). R). Also, according to the obtained results, the quality of life is able to predict anxiety and depression caused by covid-19 (P>0.05).
