Abstract :
Interpretation is one of the words that have been used in Quoran science, commentary, Hadith, jurisprudence, language, philosophy, and mysticism. In the long term, this controversial term and its nature have been expressed by scholars and commentators. Commentators, mystics, theologians, and introspectionists, even empiricist, somehow express diferent interpretations of these words. Thus, the result has been different perceptions that are sometimes incompatible. In this study, as well as investigating the difference between interpretation and commentry and reviewing the meanings of these words, interpretation in Quoran and some of the commentators’ perceptions have also been investigated specially from Allame Tabatabaee’s views.
