Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to identify and design a barrier model for sports participation of veterans and disabled people in Hamadan province. In this cross-sectional study, the researcher, by referring to decision-makers and influencers of ambulance veterans and disabled people in Hamedan province, collected information from them through in-depth interviews and data from 25 interviews by method the database theory was coded and analyzed.then a questionnaire was designed according to the obtained codes. Regarding the widespread community of research and referring to Morgan's table by proportional stratified random sampling, a questionnaire was distributed among 384 veterans and disabled people in the province using the software S. P. S S & P L S was analyzed.According to the findings of the study, the obstacles to participation in the sport of veterans and disabled are three levels (administrative and technical barriers, social and cultural barriers), organizational (barriers to places and facilities and urban barriers) and behavior (individual barriers and family barriers) On the tendency of veterans and disabled people to exercise in Hamedan province, respectively, social barriers, individual barriers, urban barriers, obstacles to places and facilities, administrative and technical barriers and, finally, family barriers have the greatest impact on the lack of participation of veterans and disabled people The province. Therefore, with the increase of sports participation benefits, especially health and recreational benefits, as well as the removal of participation barriers, especially social barriers and facilities, the participation of veterans and the disabled in physical and sports activities increases.
