Abstract :
producing, distributing and carrying out online sexual exploitation of children in cyberspace is one of the most important challenges that has become a major concern in the minds of criminal policy makers. In fact, as technology advances and access to additional platforms for the production and distribution of unethical content, this problem is likely to get worse. Therefore, criminal policy makers in most human societies are trying to deal with online sexual exploitation of children. This article is written in a descriptive-analytical way. Although sexual exploitation of children is not a new phenomenon, it has become easier to commit with the advent of the Internet. Also, during the Corona epidemic, due to the presence of more children and adults on the Internet, crimes related to online sexual exploitation of children increased. Dealing with the crime of online sexual exploitation of children can be seen in Europol and Interpol actions. Europol has identified the key threats of child sexual exploitation through peer-to-peer networks and anonymous access, such as the dark web (e.g., Tor). Also, the Europol Cybercrime Center has taken effective measures to deal with this crime. In addition, Europol's joint operations against online sexual exploitation of children have been the most important measures in identifying and arresting criminals. Interpol's actions include the creation of an international information base on sexual exploitation of children, the signing of an agreement between Interpol and UNICEF, Operation Narsil, and the joint operation of Interpol and the Colombian police against child sex offenders.
