Abstract :
Objective: The purpose of this study was to design a model of professional ethics for faculty members of the Islamic Azad University of Tehran. Method: The method of conducting research is mixed (qualitative-quantitative). In order to conduct this research, in addition to the documentary study, the content analysis technique with MAXQDA12 software was used to identify the dimensions and components. The statistical population in this study was all experts in the field of professional ethics, which was conducted after 17 theoretical saturation interviews. Results: Finally, 5 dimensions, 20 components and 80 indicators were identified. The structural equation method of smartpls3 software was used to draw the pattern. Results: The results showed that the dimensions of education (0.669), behavioral (0.569), organizational (0.558), individual (0.414) and socio-cultural (0.353) were the most important in the professional ethics model, respectively. The validity of the model was evaluated with 4 dimensions (comprehension, adaptation, generalization and control) which showed high validity of the model.
