Abstract :

Abstract Social solidarity among members of a society's collective Brtvafq implies acceptance of it and internalize the values and norms of a community belonging to Total (we feel) and engage people in the community. The various factors involved in the creation or promotion of solidarity, according to their weight is one of the basic factors of religion. We know religion has a social character is the sum of many lives with certain beliefs Vdrbrdarndh, It is apparent ritual, religion is outward and visible social and community members to a collector calls. The aim of this study the role religion plays in social cohesion among citizens of Tehran. The research method is descriptive and survey sample of 400 residents were selected by cluster sampling method. .Instrument, religiosity test standard questionnaire, a questionnaire was used Glock Vastark social solidarity. The findings suggest that the level of religiosity and its dimensions and social cohesion among citizens is moderate to high study. The results corroborated the fact that religiosity essential role of social ity among citizens is also a significant relationship was found between the religious aspects of social cohesion.
