Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to design an irritability test. The term irritability in this research have included anxiety, high arousal, hostility, depression, acceleration, incompatibility, lack of persistence, decentralization, impulsiveness, dissatisfaction and impatience. The design of the study is based on test validity. The population of the study consisted of all employees at Milk Powder Factory, Mashhad municipality, and Golestan Ali foundation and 400 peaople were selected by Simple Random Sampeling method and answered the questions. The average age and the standard deviation of the age in this sample were 51/38 and 9/98 with a range of 21 to 70 years. 75 percent of the subjects were women and 25 percent were men. To examine the amount of desirability and internal consistency of the factors, first descriptive indexes, the correlation coefficients of each factor were examined with the total score and the Cronbach's alpha coefficients, in the case of deletion of each factor. The factors with no minimum or confusing operative bar were discarded, all factors related to depression were deleted, and the analysis were resumed. Finally, a simple operative structure was obtained that could be explained 28/70 percent of the variance with 10 operant of higher value than one. Cronbach's alpha coefficients varied from 0.68 to 0.92, indicating that all sub-scales were stable. The alpha coefficients and dividing in two for the total were 0.95 and 0.90, respectively. Finally, the results showed that the research can be introduced as a source of measuring irritability.
