Abstract :
The aim this study of was evaluate the relationship between transformational leadership style of managers and organizational commitment in higher education. The research method was applied in terms of practical purpose, cross-sectional in terms of time and descriptive-correlation in terms of implementation method. The statistical population of this study were managers, heads of faculties, deputies, heads of departments, etc in the Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, and they were selected based on random sampling, the relevant samples.The statistical population was (260 people), which that used Cochran's formula for various communities to determine the sample size (156 people). After collecting the questionnaires was used to measure the validity, the formal-content validity and Cronbach's alpha coefficient used for reliability and SPSS software was used to analyze the data and test the hypotheses. Data were collected using two researcher-made questionnaires for leadership and the standard questionnaire for organizational commitment.In the descriptive statistics were used (frequency tables,…) and in the inferential statistics section, Kolmogorov-Smirnov to the relationship between the variables were significantly evaluated after examining the normality of the distribution.Pearson correlation was investigate the relationship between the variables. The results of data analysis showed that of the four existing hypotheses, all hypotheses have been confirmed and there is significant relationship between transformational leadership of managers and organizational commitment. other research results in the variable ranking section showed that there was no priority between the variables and there was no significant difference between them. And research variables have the same priority
