Abstract :
Investigating the causes of success of some organizations as well as the causes of the decline and dissolution of some companies show that creating the necessary and appropriate motivation in the workforce has a significant and significant effect on the success and sustainability or dissolution of these units. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting job motivation using the cross-sectional method. This research is applied in terms of purpose; it is a qualitative research in terms of the nature of information and its analysis. From the point of view of data collection method, it is in the field of documentary research. Finally, based on the research method, it is one of the descriptive-analytic researches that has been done by using cross-sectional method. The statistical population of the study is all internal researches done in the last 10 years (1399-1999) with the aim of investigating the factors affecting job motivation that their report is indexed in the Database of Iranian Journals(magiran) or Academic Jihad Database. By using purposive sampling method and based on theoretical saturation rule, 12 studies were selected and studied. Factor and component extraction was performed using the thematic analysis method and the validity of the analyzes was confirmed by the analytical triangulation method. According to the results, the factors influencing motivation of faculty members of the university consisted of seven factors, 19 components and 61 indicators. Factors affecting motivation are workplace conditions, policies and rules, management and leadership style, relationships with colleagues, personality factors, empowerment, and the nature of the job. Too many cases motivate faculty members to fall into several categories.
