An analysis of the internal factors of educational inequality in the universities of Sistan and Baluchistan province

Abstract :
Purpose: Today, the evaluation of the development of societies at the international level is based on the level of equality and justice in all aspects of life, such as gender, education and higher education, investment, social life, etc. The purpose of this research is to analyze the internal factors of educational inequality in the universities of Sistan and Baluchistan province. Method: The current research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of the nature and type of study, it is a data-based method. The population and statistical sample of this research are made up of 15 managers of executive bodies, faculty members of educational management, economics and sociology. Also, the sampling method was targeted sampling in the database method, and experts were invited for interviews after identification. In this research, information has been collected by two methods: documentary studies and interviews and coding (open, central and selective). In this way, explanatory codes were extracted by reviewing the interviews several times, and categories and themes were extracted by merging and combining similar codes and removing duplicate codes. Findings: The results of the research showed that the most important internal economic factors of underdevelopment in the province from the perspective of the academic staff of the country are: damage and corruption in the economic sphere of the province, obstacles to investment in the province, unbalanced development, challenges of employment and unemployment. Graduates are the weakness of the communication and transportation network and educational discrimination. Also, the most important internal social factors of underdevelopment in Sistan and Baluchistan are the lack of trust in the educational system, weak social capital, weak human capital, emigration of elites, ethnic-religious challenges, lack of security and weak rule of law. Conclusion: The expansion of educational opportunities and post-secondary education as well as increasing the level of literacy in the region will increase the level of awareness as well as create job opportunities and reduce the unemployment of graduates in Sistan and Baluchistan province.
