Abstract :

The purpose of this study was the effect of tax avoidance on managerial entrenchment in companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange. The scope of this research was the companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange and years between 1394 and 1400. Based on the systematic elimination method, 115 companies were selected as the research sample. The current research is a descriptive-correlation research, based on the nature of the data, it is a quantitative research and based on the objectives, it is considered an applied research. Data analysis was conducted eviews 10 software with the panel data method with fixed effect. The results of the research hypotheses test showed that with increasing tax avoidance, managerial entrenchment is also observed more. In addition, it was found that corporate social responsibility has an effect on the relationship between tax avoidance and managerial entrenchment. Also, corporate governance moderates the relationship between tax avoidance and managerial entrenchment.
