Investigating the mediating role of green human resource management on the relationship between transformational leadership and social responsibility of employees

Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating role of green human resource management on the relationship between transformational leadership and employee social responsibility. The research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in nature. The statistical population is the staff of Tabriz Municipality. Using simple random sampling, 371 people were selected as a sample through Cochran's formula. A standard questionnaire was used to collect information. Validity was assessed using content validity methods, divergent and convergent, and reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha and combined reliability. The results showed that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on green human resource management. Transformational leadership does not affect social responsibility. Green human resource management has a positive and significant effect on social responsibility. Green human resource management also mediated the relationship between transformational leadership and social responsibility.
