Abstract :

Abstract Greimas' narratology is one of the theories that try to find the patterns based on the text's structure. In the first step, Greimas determines the structure governing the work by assessing the grammar of the narrative and then explains the intra-textual relationships of these signs that make up the system and structure of the work, to obtain the meaning of the work through them. In this research, the narrative patterns of realistic stories in the story of Tars and larz by Gholamhossein Saedi, Biyalon from the Abshuran collection by Ali Ashraf Darvishian, and Dokhtare Raeiyat by Mahmoud Etemadzadeh(M.A. Beh Azin)have been investigated, relying on the theory of Greimas. The purpose of this research is to compare the structure of some contemporary stories with the theory of Greimas and his semantic square and to analyze some aspects of the social meanings of these works. The research results show the narrative coherence of these works and their adaptation to the semantic square of Greimas and the presence of repetitions and contrasts of words that advance the main and hidden discourse of the text and represent some sociological and anthropological dimensions.
