Abstract :
The aim of the present study is to design a dynamic model for formulating industrial policies for the automotive industry using system dynamics. This research is applied in nature and employs a survey method for data collection. The statistical population in the qualitative section includes 15 experts from the country's automotive industry (Saipa and Iran Khodro) to identify the dimensions, components, and key indicators for formulating industrial policies and to present a model. Data collection was conducted using thematic analysis through interviews with these experts. Data analysis was performed using interviews and manual coding, while the quantitative section utilized the Nasim software. The results of the study indicate that in the qualitative section, interviews identified four subsystems: consumption and pricing policies, import-export control policies, planning and management policies, and technical and technological policies, each encompassing multiple factors. In the subsequent section of the research, to design a dynamic model for formulating industrial policies for Iran's automotive industry using system dynamics modeling, a dynamic model illustrating the relationships between the influential components was presented. Furthermore, the impact of different scenarios was demonstrated using an overall model, and the results showed that the scenarios had a significant impact on formulating industrial policies for Iran's automotive industry.
