Abstract :
Considering the issues and problems related to metropolis and residential Regions in most parts of the world, solutions and views have been proposed. The most recent of these views is livability. Therefore, the present research, with an analytical-comparative approach and the use of Vikor technique, has sought to evaluate and determine the state of mental livability in 8 urban Regions of Kermanshah metropolis. At first, by using the environmental scanning method and the use of databases, indicators and items related to livability in the mental dimension in the form of 3 dimensions, 15 indicators and 93 variables have been identified. Considering that the survey research method is based on questionnaire distribution, the statistical population includes citizens living in 8 urban areas of Kermanshah, and the sample size is 384 people selected using Cochran's method. The techniques used in this research were Vikor (to determine the livability Conditions of Regions) and Shannon's entropy (to weight the research indicators). The results of the research show that, in the 3 dimensions examined, the livability of the metropolis of Kermanshah is not satisfactory, because the general livability of the 8 regions of Kermanshah shows that out of the 8 regions of Kermanshah, 50% of the regions (regions 8, 4 , 2 and 3) are in a very unfavorable and critical situation. The condition of region 6 is unfavorable and two regions 1 and 7 are in an average livability condition. Examining the situation of region 5 shows the very good condition of this region. Finally, suggestions have been made to improve the living conditions of the regions.
