Examining the mental models of successful managers of Iran's Education Organization

Abstract :
Introduction : Mental model plays an important role to increase performance of organizations. The organizations which are able to make accurate mental models from their occupational environment and use them are more successful than those organizations which are not able to do that task.
purpose: The purpose of this research is to investigate the mental models of successful managers of the Iranian Education Organization.
Research methodology:The statistical population in this research was the successful managers of the Iranian of Education Organization in academic year of 2021-2022.Research methodology in this research is qualitative being of phenomenology type which was conduected by purposive sampling snowball method up to theoretical saturation limit of data.In this research managers of Education who had past record of service higher than10years with B.A.academic certificate and higher as well as successful performance in management, from mazandaran,Tehran and Azerbaijan,were invited to interview and participated in the reseurch.By theoretical saturation,24 ones were selected as sample. In order to collect data, semi-structured interview tool was used. After collecting the data,data analysis was performed by enforcement of 7 stepsof Kluizi method.
Findings: The results of findings of this qualitative study led to the identification of 7 dimensions and 77 components in 6 indicators of the mental model of managers and presentation of conceptual model of the optimal mental models of the Education Organization of Iran.
Conclusion: Therefore, the results of the interview based on the ranking table showed that 39 components of mental models among 5 to 18 repetitions had the most repetitions including the Empowerment and training and selection of manpower, human interaction and communication,participation,andthe prioritization of programs. And 38 components with the least repetition were repeated among 1 to 5 times including being open to criticism, paying attention to land management, and emphasizing physical education along with education.
