Abstract :
The present study was conducted with the aim of designing a self-regulation training program and investigation of its effect on the motivation of Shahed and Isargar female and male students of Shahed high school in Zahedan city. This study was conducted in a semi-experimental way in the form of a pre-test-post-test design with two experimental and control groups. The statistical population consisted of 800 female and male high school students (1st and 2nd year of high school) in the academic year 1399-1400, among them 60 students (30 girls, 30 boys) were selected, using a multi-stage cluster method. And then they were randomly divided into two experimental groups (15 boys and 15 girls) and two control groups (15 boys and 15 girls). In this study, Wallerand's (1989) academic motivation questionnaires were used to collect data. The data were analyzed using analysis of covariance test. The obtained results indicate that there is a significant difference between the average scores of the pre-test and the post-test in motivational belief variable. (P<0/001) and as a result, the average post-test scores of the experimental group in the motivational belief variable is significantly higher than the control group, which can be caused by the design and implementation of the researcher's self-regulation training program. According to the results, it is concluded that public and private organizations and centers in charge of student education can use this self-regulation training program to increase motivational belief in their classes and workshops.
