The effect of the geometric form of the ceiling on the acoustic parameters of the music hall

Abstract :

Since the time of the first civilizations, music has been an inseparable part of human life and it has been considered as a kind of communication between them and life. In this article, the design and acoustic analysis of the architecture of a multi-purpose music hall is discussed. The capacity of hall is 1000 people and the parameters of SPL, RT, STI, EDT, and ALcones are analyzed. The desired analyzes have been done by Odeon software. In the interior design of this hall, there are 2 designs; In the first plan, the ceiling of the hall is designed as a curve and in the second plan, the ceiling is designed as regular breaks, taking into account sound frequencies. After checking the data, it has been observed that almost all the acoustic parameters in the second design are much better than the first design and the hall will be in a very good acoustic condition.
