Abstract :

In the teachings and teachings of individual and social ethics, in ancient Iran, there has always been a kind of religious belief and faith in superhuman truths and action according to the principles of ethics, based on the pleasure of God. Zoroastrianism, with its moral dualism, has a kind of harmony with human nature, mostly in the land of ancient Iran. The issue of the present article is why ancient Iranians believed in and adhered to the theory of the morality of politics for governance? The research method in this article was historical with a qualitative approach. The necessary information was collected in a library manner, which, after adaptation, led to the description and analysis of the data.

The ethical rituals of the pre-Zoroastrian Iranians were inspired by the teachings found in the Vedas or the teachings of the Aryans of ancient India. In this religion, all phenomena are influenced by the existence of natural forces such as the sun, moon, stars, earth, fire, water, and wind. In ancient Iran, the idea of ​​kingship was based on a set of beliefs and convictions that collectively formed the worldview and theoretical framework of Iranians. One of the most important components of this belief, which is directly and immediately related to political thought, is the "alignment of religion and politics," from which the theory of the morality of politics and political behavior can be extracted.
