Effect of Distance Working on Performance of Employees of Ministry of Cooperative, Labor & Social Welfare

Abstract :
Nowadays through beginning the third millennium we are facing with new concept of laborthat is different its previous meaning in the 20th century that is called teleworking that is in factmoving from standard traditional working condition toward flexible procedures by usinginformation technology and communication as modern solution for obtaining to objectives ofgoals and meeting human resource requirements. We are coping with a new challenge aboutdealing with management and benefit of increasing performance of employees for managers oforganizations.The objective of this research is studying the effect of teleworking on performance ofemployees at Ministry of Cooperative, Labor and Social Labor that with respect to result ofwork is regarded as applied research and with respect to objective is regarded as descriptivecorrelationresearch. The statistical universe of this research is all distance working employeesof Ministry of Cooperative, Labor and Social Welfare that are 630 persons. The tool forcollecting information is questionnaire. The validity of questionnaire was confirmed bysupervisor and advisor and 10 experts and for reliability of questionnaire it was applied fromAlpha Cronbach method that the remained Alpha at elementary stage was obtained as 0.924 andat main stage was 0.926.In order to analyze data it was applied from T-test, Pearson Correlation and Freedman test.Research findings show that teleworking has positive relationship with performancecomponents (organizational commitment, economizing in costs, motivation, improvement, jobsatisfaction and concentration) and due to flexibility it increases performance of employees.Results of research show that model factors are not equal and organizational commitment hashighest rank(4.8) and improvement factor with lowest rank (2.55) as the lowest important factorat distance working.
