Factors influencing organizational effectiveness from the perspective of corporate social responsibility

Abstract :
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is not just for social specialists or large-scalecompanies, all business leaders and managers must understand why they are engaged in CSR.The objective of this study is to measure Corporate Social Responsibility and investigate itseffects on Organizational Effectiveness (OE) in cooperative companies in TEHRAN province.For this purpose, a sample of 388 customers of 4 cooperative companies was randomly selectedand gathered data was analyzed.The findings of our research based on Pearson correlation CO-efficiency show that there is ameaningful relationship between CSR and OE. Among the OE attributes, customers image andstaff morale have most relationship with CSR.
