Abstract :
The establishment of Safavid dynasty as an independent Shiitedynasty in Islamic history resulted in a vast argument aboutcomplying with it among political and dominions. Since the dynastywas controlled by superb scholars from the beginning, there wascontroversy among jurists on the subject. The advent of Akhbārimovement drew scholars' attention of Iran & Iraq and made it popularamong them. If the idea comes true that this movement was a reactionto misapplication of ÝŪlamā' to strengthen the government, then theAkhbāri would be against the government.While the history shows that despite their opposition withgovernmental scholars, they deprived them of their position and tooktheir place in complying with the government. This article deals withscholar's viewpoint on contribution with government and on the ideasand functions of Akhbāri and scholars. (R.H.)
