Assessment of Iranian‐Islamic identity components Among University Students and presenting management strategies to enhance it

Abstract :
Introduction and objective research: in fact, preserving and enhancing Iranian ‐ Islamic identity; specifically at the era of research or ,this article has been written according to descriptive survey, it is based on components and indicators of Iranian ‐ Islamic identity, a questionnaire with different parts was prepared and a field research has been done to gather the opinion of the sample population about the variables of ethnic and tribal elements of Iranian identity, religious (Islam, Shiite) and universal . Method: Due to the nature and the topic, the present study can be considered a descriptive ‐analytic study. This study was conducted by using a questionnaire. At first the validity of the collected data by using the coefficient of Cronbach's alpha has been checked. Then the collected data were classified and analyzed. Next descriptive statistics was used, the data was collected through charts and tables and it was summarized according to frequency distribution. Inferential statistics has been used to test the hypotheses. This research studied the relation between the components of Iranian ‐ Islamic identity and the components of Iranian‐Islamic identity were classified according to the importance and rank by Friedman. Results: The results show that most of the students believe that: • Iranian culture and Islamic culture has been interwoven and the spread of Islam in the world makes them satisfied and content. • There is a gap between Iranian culture and Islamic Shiite culture and to be Shiite is Iranian indicators. •They have a sense of belonging to Iranian ‐ Islamic identity. Conclusion: In order to promote the Iranian‐Islamic identity components among the students the following ten axes are recommended: Preservation And Promotion Integration Between Identity Iranian And Islamic Identity of Iranian people Emphasis On Islamic, Iranian, Regional, Local, And Ethnic Beliefs Emphasis Balanced On All Dimension of Iranian Islamic Identity in Universities Preparation For Educating students who look for real identity in universities
