An examination of the level of employment among Cultural Management students and graduates in the managerial and the cultural professions, and a proposition of some guidelines for efficient policy making

Abstract :
Abstract Introduction and Research Purpose: This research intends for examination of the level of employment among the Cultural Management students in the managerial professions, as well as an appropriate policy making in the cultural sphere; hence proceeding a disquisition in this field, the present research states main guidelines for the efficient policy making as the necessity and purpose of the following research. Thus the examination of the conditions of employment of students of Cultural Management in the managerial and the cultural professions of the country, and proposition of guidelines for its advancement are the practical purposes of the present research Method This research, with regard to its purpose and essence, is a descriptive survey. The statistical population includes the students and graduates that are available of Cultural Management and Planning; between 1386 to 1391, subject at Islamic Azad University, Olum ‐Tahghighat Tehran Branch Iran Findings: Findings form this research demonstrates the fact that the extent of knowledge, the type of proficiency and skill, as well as the demand of the cultural associations and organizations are highly influential in employment in the cultural and the managerial professions. 48/4 percent of the employees have stated that in their workplace, Cultural Management subject belongs to the category of employing professions; in addi on, 51/6 percent have declared a negave response to the same ques on. The level of knowledge of 72.4 percent presents the highest, and teaching method with 53.1 percent presents the lowest average in the standards of employing students in the cultural and the managerial professions Conclusion: According to the findings from the research, the level of knowledge of the students of Cultural Management and Planning is more influential in their employment in related professions. Thus guidelines and fundamental actions and efficient policy making regarding the level of employment among Cultural Management students and graduates in the cultural association and organizations, is requisite in structural, political, programmatic, etc., levels.
