Abstract :
Introduction and purposes: The main goal of this study is to investigate the relationship of the consumption of cultural goods and generation gap between the young and adult generation. Islamic Azad University of Tehran, Science and research branch.So the main question is:Is there a significant relationship between consumption of cultural goods and the generation gap between the young adult generation ?Method: The research method is survey. The population of the study consisted of 340 students of PhD, MSc, BSc ages ( 19 - 25 )years old as the younger generation and (35-55) years as an adult generations. Which were selected by cluster sampling.Finding: Results indicate that:According to age, education, marital status, level of artistic goods consumption and cultural atmosphere two generations in the field of the cultural goods consumption were different.Results: The greatest difference is in the rate of consumption of art goods. It can indicate the change in lifestyle and consequently the generation gap in the future.
