The effect of institutional trust on the performance of the staff of the Ministry of Sports and Youth

Abstract :
The purpose of present research was to determine the effect of institutional trust on performance of the staff of the Ministry of Sport and Youth. The research for the purpose was practical and from the strategy was correlation based on structural equation model which was implemented by field method. The statistical population of the research included all of employees in the ministry of Sport and Youth (N=901), that using Krejcie and Morgan sampling table 279 which was randomly selected as statistical sample. In this research, Institutional Trust (Aloonen, 2008), Employee Performance (Zarei Robat, 2014) .questionnaires were used for data collection. The reliability of the questionnaires was calculated through Cronbach's alpha 0.88, 0.78, respectively. Data were analyzed using Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests and structural equations in SPSS and AMOS software.The results of the study showed that institutional trust directly affects the performance of employees at the rate of 0.35. The results of the study showed that institutional trust directly affects the performance of employees, therefore, based on the research results, it is offered that experts of the sport and youth ministry can help maintain and improve employees by improving communication and collaboration between employees and managers and improving team performance.
