The results show that Bandar Lengeh has the highest level of economic development and Abu Musa and Minab have the lowest level of development. In addition, based on inferential statistics, it can be said that there is an inverse relationship between social capital and economic development; That this inverse relationship is due to strong links between the cities under study; And according to the theory of weak links, intra-group links lead to underdevelopment.
