The Role of Telegram in the Football Fans' violence

Abstract :

The present research investigates the role of using telegrams in the occurrence of violence in football spectators. The type of research is descriptive-survey. The statistical population of the research is football spectators and users of Telegram channels and football groups present in Tehran, in which 384 people are selected by available methods using Morgan table. The research tool is researcher-made questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire is confirmed by using content validity method and the reliability of the questionnaire is confirmed by using Cronbach's alpha test. Data analysis is performed by using SPSS19 software. research results showed that there is significant relationship between the use of telegrams and the violence of football spectators. There is also significant relationship between the components of Telegram usage, provocative reports in the Telegram, provocative videos and the reflection of the margins of matches in the Telegram and the violence of football spectators.
