Abstract :
local associations are social groups in micro level that are formed for reach to common goals based to voluntary cooperation of urban given confine residents. These associations are voluntary associations that have preformed pivotal role in politic, economic, cultural and social fields. Development based of local associations is process that lead to formation and organization of local communities, in order to reach to some goals like social welfare problem solving and reduction of social pathos. Some of the concerns of urban management consist of chanauges like urban pathos and social disorder and lack of social health. Local associations with natural functions can perform great role in reduction and prevention of social pathos. Successful experiment of Tehran municipality in beneficiary with potency of local associations has showed these associations can affect social pathos reduction and prevention in sector and formal and public institutions particular urban management should use these potent ions and support these associations for development and improvement of local associations.
