Comparative Critique of Siddhartha's Novel in Comparison with Prominent Mystical-Educational Masterpieces of Persian Literature

Abstract :
The novel "Siddhartha" written by the German author, Hermann Hesse, is one of the best mystical-educational stories of contemporary world literature, in terms of worldview and educational teachings and it has similarities with the teachings of the classical masterpieces of Persian literature. This article seeks to take a positive step towards analysis and recognition of the inspiring capacities of the treasures of Persian literature by comparative approach and expand the scope of representation of the similarities between the novel "Siddhartha" and Persian mystical and educational literature in the field of themes, slogans and implicit messages and at the same time. It emphasizes the suggestion that the range of Persian literature has a tremendous talent for regulating or at least documenting the poetic evidence of this novel; If realized, it can be a good way to get out of the literary impasse and create a new opportunity for poets, translators and playwrights of this region.
