Abstract :
One of the disputed issues between Shiites and Sunnis is the legitimacy of the gathering of two prayers. Shiite has a common time for prayer at noon and afternoon, and for the prayers of the Maghrib and Isha, it is possible to pray the prayers of the noon and evening, and the prayers of Maghrib and Isha together. Of course, some jurisprudents believe that there is no delay in prayer without excuses. The Sunni does not consider the total time to be absolute and the total between two prayers is permissible in certain cases. In this article, we explain the arguments of both religions and criticize them. The dominant theory of the Shi'a jurisprudents is absolute legitimacy of the two prayers, but some of the jurists are entitled to delay in the event of an excuse. Sunnis do not agree on the total legitimacy of the two prayers in absolute terms, and some Sunni scholars have combined the two prayers with sickness or travel or other restrictions. By studying Sunnite Hadiths, there are some hadiths that prove the totality of the platinum, which is consistent with Shi'a's views.
