Abstract :
The aim of this research was to investigate the relationship between religion and marital satisfaction. The design of this in research was descriptive. Statistical population was formed from all of educational staff, personnel and married students in of Islamic Azad University of Mobarekeh in educational year. The sample included subjects ( educational staff, personnel and married students) selected using stratified and simple random sampling. Research instruments consisted of Oxford Happiness Questionnaire ( α = ), Enrich Questionnaire ( α = ) and Mabad ( α = ). In order to analyze data, pearson correlation–coefficient, ANOVA, Multiple Variable Regression as well as descriptive statistics were used and the results indicated that the religion has a significant correlation with happiness and marital satisfaction (r = , P < and r = , P < respectively). The religion and age are two significant variables in prediction of marital satisfaction and happiness.
