Abstract :
The aim of this study was to investigate of the influence of eye fixation and eye tracking Exercises on attention improvement and impulsivity reduction in ADHD children. Subjects were 17 (12 male and 5 female) preschool and school age children diagnosed as ADHD on the basis of DSM - IV - T criteria and behavior observation and interview in counseling centers in Marvdasht city. In a pre-test/post-test without control group design, subjects were administered 12 week eye fixation and eye tracking exercises. Vanderbilt ADHD Diagnostic parent rating Scale (ADPRS) and Vanderbilt ADHD Diagnostic teacher rating Scale (ADTRS) complicated as measure of attention deficit and impulsivity. Data analysis indicates significant improvement in attention and reduction in impulsivity of ADHD children from parents and teachers point of view (p < 0.5).
