Abstract :
The purpose of the recent study was to compare teachers’ function evaluation by Video Data with other methods of teaching function evaluation. The quantitative- qualitative approach, from the kind of succession was used. The method of the research was quantitative (descriptive) and qualitative (the case study). The statistical population included all the high schools’ educational teachers, principals, and evaluators in the first grade in Sanandag in 2012-2013, (238 people). The sampling was selected with the random- clustery method and there were 142 people for the quantitative research by using Morgan table. In the qualitative part, the available sampling was selected for the science teachers by using theoretical saturated sampling and there were 8 participants who allowed be interviewing and filming. The questionnaire tools were research- made and semi-structured interview. The reliability of the questionnaire was 0.86 by using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, and its analysis was done by the confirmatory factor analysis, Freedman, Variance analysis, Scheffe's test and one-sample t test using spss software version 19 and lisrel software. The findings showed was the the question- center approach had the most appropriate with the current system. Accountabbility/Improvement approaches and the social advocacy approach were next priorities. Using video data for teachers’ performance evaluation was useful in order to achieve the objectives of performance evaluation system and solve the problems of the current system.
