Abstract :

During 2009-2010 a faunistic study was carried out on edaphic Mesostigmatic mites in rape seed and corn farms in Gachsaran (Kohgiloyeh & Boir Ahmad province), Iran. A total of 20 species from 14 genera and 8 families of Mesostigmata were collected and identified. Among them one genus and three species are considered to be the first record for Iran. The genus is marked by (**) and the three species are marked with (*).
