Georges Bernanos the twentieth century's catholic writer, in his works gave the significant role to the women. Meantime, spiritual contents that were his theme of writing was his proceeding for human identity, encounter of divine and devilish forces and emerging issue of this tow reality. As we go further in his works, we observed transforming different character so that at most of Bernanos novels at the end of the story we see death twin with peace for sinner that glow of light of faith and interest of love of spiritual character as Shantal. In this article, we survey the role of Shantal, heroine of Pleasure novel and scrutinize her influence on other character of story. The pivot of present discussion was spiritual quest and entirely glory life of this young girl under love and faith and guiding sinner to direction of lefty place. In conflict between light and darkness, woman was dynamic and stimulation of story in which became mediator for emerging of spiritual relation among different character. This woman with motive of achievement to climax of spirituality has marked difference with other female character at Bernanos works. Bernanos special attention to different situation and elegant manner of heroine indicated author’s recognition of spiritual life intricacy.
