Abstract :
Outsourcing is a powerful tool for organizations to gain advantage in competition, but like any tool it may cause vulnerabilities if used improperly. The main purpose of this study is to identify risks of outsoursing projects in an electrical generation management company. Then to prioritize the major and minor risks as well as identifying them. This research is an applied research and the method is descriptive with survey. In this study, the Gray DEMATEL technique and Interpretive Structural Modeling(ISM) is combined to identify and design the pattern of relationships indicators. With the use of DEMATEL technique, we identify the causal relationships between variables. The ISM is used to analyze the results. After analyzing the factors we conducted that two risks of communication and contract problems are the main risks in outsourcing project. the company should take into account the two risks in order to achieve the success. And it cause company to maintain their competitive benefits.
