Abstract :
Present research aimed to predicting marital adjustment based on marital expectations with mediate role of marital conflicts. The research population was married students of Islamic Azad University of Tehran Branches in 2018-19 academic years. The research sample was 400 people (200 men and 200 women) that were selected by multistep cluster sampling method. Data collection tools consisted of the questionnaires of marital adjustment (Spanier, 1976), marital expectations (Bahrami Ehsan and et al, 2010) and marital conflicts (Sanaei, 2008). The data were analyzed by structural equation modeling method with using of LISREL software. The findings showed that the fit of model was suitable and marital expectations on marital conflicts and marital adjustment and marital conflicts and marital adjustment of married students has a direct and significant effect.
